This is the first time since I first got a RWD car three years ago that I’ve been able to slide around in the snow. Much fun.

For about 3 weeks straight, ending last Friday, the snowpack didn’t melt off my road. I’m at the end of a quiet dead-end, with a nice cul-de-sac all to myself, no other houses or people within 300 feet, and the nearest neighbor certainly doesn’t care. I did not come in or out of our driveway once in three weeks without a little sliding, or at most, a continuous 90 seconds of donuts because why not.

Snow is indeed fun. But now every time we get in the car, my 3-year-old says, “can we do donuts?”
